Default Lords of Thunder - Turbo CD

Today I acquired Lords of Thunder for my PC Engine DUO. It's the North American version (obviously, since the Japanese version went by Wings of Thunder). It's in absolutely wonderful condition. Nothing wrong with it or the case/manual whatsoever, simply beautiful.

I bought it today at a local gaming shop. It specializes in retro games mostly, but with crazy high prices. They wanted $30.00 for it, I tried to budge em downwards, but nope, they weren't moving. I did negotiate $30.00 including taxes (sales tax is 13% here). Was this an alright deal? I know that I didn't do fantastic by any means but I'm hoping I didn't overpay by too much.

This is the same store that charged $100.00 for an Atari Jaguar (no games) and sells pirate multicarts for $1.00 per game. I'm not kidding, a 31-in-1 will be $30.00, a 140-in-1 is $140.00.

It's an excellent game so $30.00 is a great price to me. Not a super amazing deal but still a great price. I am curious though, how much the game is going for these days. I think I paid around the same price as you did but I got mine from eBay years ago - back then they were getting as high as $70.00+. You'll easly get more than $30.00 of entertainment out of the title however.

TZD.com kept the price down for as long as they could. Now it gets on average from 30-50.
