    Default Leisure Suit Larry

I think the "Top 100" thread got me thinking about this game again. I Googled it and didn't come up with anything exciting. Does anybody have the collection with 1-6? Any good? Worth getting? I figure this is one of those games I'll get, play for about 5-10 minutes, and then forget about, so I'm not looking to really spend big $$$ on it unless the entire collection is going to catch my interest.

let's see, I've played through Larry 1,2, and 6. Loved every minute of it. It was announced for the Sega CD, but never came out. I would have bought it if it had.

I've played threw 1-3. I think the scene where larry gets it on in the room over the bar while a censor block is added and dances around is one of the funniest moments in gaming history.

You said it Especially if you weren't wearing a condom, climbed down, and your balls blew up

I played through #1 in the re-released VGA version, it was GREAT, you kinda need the walkthrough handy though, cuz you'll get sick of "dying" pretty quick

Yeah!, i played Larry series a lot of times since the first one, very cool games, i think some company can release a new version, but itīs difficult... This genre is dead...?

I played part 1 through to the end. Damn that game was funny.
I'm supprised it hasn't been re-released in some form. Even if the genre is dead the comedy alone was worth a play. Who can forget having to answer 20 questions about the type of condom you wanted to purchase.

As I recall, much as Al Lowe would like to make a new game, Sierra still owns the rights to the LSL name and won't give them up easily. I think you can still get a video of an early version of LSL 8 (which is set in space) at his website (www.allowe.com, presently down).

Prior to LSL 1, Al Lowe was responsible for a piece of interactive fiction (i.e., text adventure) known as Softporn Adventure. This is still available at some websites.

I love the part when your trying to get wine for that chick you marry, and if you get it at the liquor store and then take a cab back to the hotel, the cab driver steals the wine and crashes the car and you die.

It's also fun to spend all 94.00 that Larry has right in the beginning of the game on drinks to see how long he stumbles around for.

The first is a classic game, I think I've played 3 as well. BHvrd gave me the re-release collection pack for the secret santa thing, I think it's about time to do some installing.
