    Default Turbo Grafix 16

Is $50 to much for a boxed Turbo Grafix 16 system. I think the system is complete but it might be missing the power cord.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Now THAT is a good deal. Jump on it. The deal, not the TG-16.

How is that a good deal, especially without the power cord? I wouldn't buy it... of course, maybe that's because I already have a boxed tg... but still... for a long time no one wanted the tg stuff. Has that changed while I was away? The TG is still my fav...

It might have the power cord and it has one boxed game. I am trying to find out what game it comes with. Plus I do not own a TG 16. I Just wanted to add one more to the masses.

If it does not have a power cord is the a cord from a different system I can use or does anyone have an extra one?

I honestly don't remember since I got a TG in like 1994 and loved it so much I immediately went and got a TurboDuo to replace it... it's definitely a must have if you love games... such a unique vibe to it and plenty of great games. Which game does it come with?

The power cord end is a standard end, unlike a Colecovision or Neo geo CDZ or 7800 (I'm pretty sure anyway, been a while sense I took off the plastic back shield)

A box TG-16 will only go up in price.. TG stuff is soo hard to find in the wild and a real treat to play. It's one of the few systems that has many great original titles not found on systems of the same era.

Now if it's missing the power cord, it's all beat up and the box is messed up then pass..

    That's a great Deal Grab it....if
(If you want it boxed)..but ask about condition and what it comes with.

I'd rather have a boxed system, but if your only looking to play the system and not collect it then I'd say pass.

For $50 you should get a working system with all the parts

They are on ebay all the time

yup, you can probably buy a TG-16 with a bunch of games on ebay for under $50.

keep in mind, the TG-16 needs an adapter to run with AV cables unless you want to run it with composite which I would not recommend because it sucks. You need a "Turbo Booster". This is a must have accessory for the TG-16.

My advice would be to look for a complete TG-16 system on ebay with the Turbo Booster included. I bet you could pick all this up for way under $50. In fact, here is a link to an auction that has 19 hours left and it is at $13.50.

Unless you REALLY want the box for collecting purposes, why bother? You pay more for boxed items. For systems, I personally don't care about boxes. The TG-16 is never going to be worth tons of money anyway, even when you are 80 years old.

$50 for the deal you are asking about is too much money period, even with the box. don't buy it.
