    Default Pirated NES help needed.

I apologize if I'm repeating an old topic in advance...

I have been playing Mega Man 1 on my Polystation 3 (with a NES to Famicom converter), and I'm having difficulty getting through the first boss. Since I am unable to save a password on the game, should I leave the system running the whole night? I have a feeling that it could overheat.

If you're only on the first boss, why would you leave it on?

You may have also missed the point... the "first boss" is whichever boss you choose.

Turn it off, hug a whale.

I'm sorry I wasn't specific. I'm up to Dr. Wily's "reforming cyclops" boss, the "first" of four bosses at the end of the game.

I wouldn't worry about it "overheating" NOAC units run pretty low voltage.

Ive never heard of a famiclone overheating.

Not even my overheaty PS1 overheats if I just leave it sitting overnight. It usually overheats if I am playing some intensive game for an hour on a hot summer day with the windows closed and the blinds pulled.

Of course you realize that no matter HOW long you leave it on, if you don't know the pattern of the rock-monster boss in Wily's castle ... you're not going to beat it.

I gave up and relied on Cutman's weapon while rapidly pressing the pause button.

    It worked for me. Heh.
