It depends on the game. The only games so far I gotten brand new when it first came out (which includes pre-orders):

    Sonic the Hedgehog (360)
    Rock Band Special Edition (360)
    Project Sylpheed (360) <- pre-ordered
Dawn of War: SoulStorm (PC) <- pre-ordered

All of the games I wanted to play super bad.

I only buy games I know I want for full retail, otherwise I wait for the game to hit Greatest Hits, or until it drops in the discount bin.

Hey everyone gets a lucky hit every once in awhile, but I'm sure you'd rather be a Chuck than a Tito.

If Turismo 5 released tomorrow, I'm there at full price. For me it depends on A) whether it's a gotta-have title and B) how much life/length/replayablility a title has. My habits have changed a lot over the years. I now tend to buy cheap used last-gen games while waiting for "not so gotta-have" current-gen titles to cool down a bit. You've GOTTA love it when you can score Steel Battalion for $50 complete!! It makes this insane hobby/jones less expensive than it might be. I've already been through the large bux end of it.

Rashad didn't get lucky. He wanted to punch Chuck and he did. He continues to get better with each match. Stop hating. As for Tito, he hasn't been a relevant MMA fighter since 2004.

They both hit each other at the same time, only difference was that Rashad hit Chuck (as Joe Rogan would say) on the button, I doubt that Rashad (and especially Chuck) expected to get a knockout as a result. I'm not putting Rashad down either, he's proven to be a very good fighter, I'm just saying that he got lucky with that hit and he even looked surprised that it happened.

If that didn't happen, the Chuck probably would've caught him as he continued to dance in the octagon like it was the club, that type of showboating is what will get him in trouble in the future and will cost him a match.

As for Tito, he became irrelevant the second Chuck beat the shit out of him in 2006, then he started to down spiral into the joke that he now is.

But anyway, didn't mean to derail the topic like that.

So yeah high prices suck and such. Carry on.
