Default 9/9/99 happy 9th birthday dreamcast

i totally forgot to post yesterday but it was dreamcast day.
yep 9 years of dreamcast. cant believe my fav sega system is already 9.
i dont even know where im going with this post cause i cant really tell you all to not forget to play your dreamcasts yesterday now can i?
well i guess we can at least tell one quick memory or two.

well here is two of my memories.
getting a dreamcast and PSO on PSO's release night as an early birthday present from my girlfriend at the time with no VMU to even play PSO! being out of a job at the time with no real income i traded in a bunch of playstation games (a few i still regret to this day) to get a VMU. her and i did spend that first night playing the crap out of sega swirl!

convincing an old 80+ woman to get a dreamcast to use to email and surf the net as a cheaper solution then buying a PC. who ended up just using it to play sega swirl!
Peter Chou is a bad man!

We've already got a couple celebration threads. The happy birthday thread is here, and I also posted a survey in celebration here.

The Dreamcast is also turning ten this year on 11/27/2008. At least for those who live in Japan.

Here in Australia we got our Dreamcast's last . I think it was released here in November 99. I still have everything I bought on the Australian launch day. Everything is still boxed as well. Including the keyboard and VMU. Even have a Dreamcast T shirt which is different then the one given out in the US.
