    Default Mad Maestro

I'm going to continue this topic from the old board, because I was enjoying the idea exchanges.

When last we left off, we were discussing the ability to adjust the conducting baton so that soft and medium presses were practically identical.

I've tried to do the adjustments, but I am having no luck improving my game. Can anyone give me the A and B number settings for the correct adjustment? Maybe I just have it all screwed up!

Oops, looks like I missed this one too, as I also posted about Mad Maestro. I'll just cut and paste my post into this thread...

I just picked up Mad Maestro today for 20 bucks, and it is one freaking cool game! I beat the whole game on the first try in easy mode, but normal is a different story altogether. I will probably go back to the thread in EZboard and look over the posts again, but I was hoping you guys would post your thoughts (and tips) on this game here again.

    Thanks!

I suck at this game. I've beat it on easy, but I can't get anywhere in Normal mode. I bought it thinking I'd be all good at it and everything since I was a music major and actually have *real* conducting experience, but I guess not.

Holy shit, I can't even get past the first song in easy mode! I get booed off the stage every time. This "button-pressure" stuff is really screwing with me I guess. It's back to child mode for me!

The first time I played it I was all freaked out because the tutorial makes it look really hard, and because of the whole pressure sensitive thing, but I did it all in one shot. I had to retry one level. It appears to have opened everything up, so I'm using the "Memory" feature to go back and replay all the levels on normal, so I'm about half done. A lot of the better songs can only be unlocked this way. This game is a blast though!

This game is (sorry britboy) way too easy, though. I bought this game last night!

Sorry about not responding sooner, I was busy visiting lovely Wisconsin...

I only lost one song and that was on normal mode (It was the Mozart piece that's really long). Once you get the hang of the game it's really easy. I've unlocked everything, except I can't beat the final concert. The Final Concert difficulty is bumped up so much that I can only get through 7 pieces. The music isn't any harder, but the audience won't tolerate any mistakes (or only a few). It's quite a humbling experience.

All I can say is practice practice practice. The blue circles only require a very quick tap, the green circles require a normal press, and the red circles mean pound that button hard! I'll check out my settings tomorrow, but I don't think they'll ddo you any good. It's all about practice.
