Wow. I'm still up in the air as to whether that's really cool, or really pathetic.

Hmmm, fairly interesting. These people take the Zelda stories to heart as much as the Star Wars folk do. It was an interesting approach, with the very first games of the Zelda series being the most recent in the time line.

This bring up my biggest pet peeve with gaming these days. Plots. I think gamers get too hung up with them. I definitely enjoy a game whose plot I got into (Halo say), but if a plot has so called holes in it I could care less - all I care about is how it controls and how much fun it is to play. If/when I want good plotting I read a novel.

I'm a huge Zelda fan and putting the games into one timeline just doesn't make sense to me. Although I *do* find the reading interesting.

EDIT: Actually scratch that previous thought. I've read it *all* the way through and it does make some sense to plot it together. But I still stand by my statement - plots themselves don't make the game great. It just gives us something to do.

And the great cities wane and last descend
Into the dust, for all things have an end
