Default Serious NES Tetris accomplishment tonight!

I have to brag because I'm absolutely enamoured at myself. My first accomplishment came a few days ago, I actually complete Level 9 B type height 5 because I heard about the great ending screen you get when you finish it. Here's a pic, notice all the Nintendo characters, Pitt, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Mario, Luigi, Samus, Link and Peach. Never knew it existed until I finished B 9-5

My more serious accomplishment and one of the true landmarks of my gaming career was just a bit ago when I got hyped over some youtube videos and decided to finally complete mode B Level 19. I would constantly get around 20 lines and bust so I played about an hour and a half and finally after like 15 years or more of playing this game I finally did it, I woke my wife up in the process and she was not too happy but I didn't care, one of my most serious goals was finished.

I'm just curious to see what anyone else has accomplished on these boards Tetris wise, and those youtube videos are insane, there's a guy who gets to level 29 from level 19, just crazy!

I'm actually still in shock, anyways post any great accomplishments on Tetris you've done as well.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

I personally have never been very good at Tetris. The girls I've hung out with have all handed me my behind in vs. mode.. why are girls so good at Tetris??

No kidding... in a game where you're constantly trying to fill the next hole, you think it would be the other way around.

    Oh, snap!

    Kudos on reaching your goal!

My mom and I used to play Tetris together all the time. We didn't really care much about score, it was all about who could get the most lines. I like to start from about level 13 and I can usually break 200 lines. My highest line count is 217. I think that's level 21. Also, for practice, I start on level 19 and just try to get as many lines as I can. Everything up until 19 is pretty much a breeze so I start there to skip all the boring stuff.

My mom played it for awhile but then decided that playing it (or games, in general) made her hands too sweaty so she quit. I think she used to be better than me but I'm sure I could beat her at it now.

tetris is an awesome game and the different ending screens you get are a good reward for beating more and more of the game.
