Default giant stack of classic / newer gaming mags

I have a stack of Gamepro mags from 1990 to about 95 / 96. I also have the first issue which I got for free at Toys R US back in the day when I bought Karnov for the NES.

Electronic Gaming Monthly, my earliest is issue 7, and have every issue since #14. I believe I have all of the EGM2's

I have most of the Video Game & Computer Entertainment mags issued.

About 10 or so issues of Sega Visions and Mega Play each.

    Issue 10 of Turbo Play

    3 issues of Electronic Gamefan

6 or 7 issues of Next Generation magazine

About 10 Nintendo Power from '87 to '90

I think I have all of the Electronic Games magazines.

    Newer Gameinformers, OPM, PSM

Blip, I think I have all of them.

a 1 foot stack of Atari Age.

Plus random issues of Game Players, Tips n Tricks, Play,

Are we looking at any kind of value here?

There's decent value on some of the early issues of popular mags like EGM/Nintendo Power/etc. but the later stuff really isn't worth much (maybe $1/issue and that's quite high if sold/bought in lots).

Forgot to mention I also have the limited edition Final Fantasy cover of EGM that came out a while ago, with the common cover issue still sealed. Any value with that limited edition cover?

Magazines from 2000 to present will usually get you $1-3 with two excepts. First, if theres a demo disc or dvd included with the mag. And second, if you have magazines with a certain character on the cover or featured in the story that someone else is looking for. So if someone is looking for any mags related to Sonic(for instance) then you could get a pretty decent amount selling him all your Sonic mags.

As for the earlier mags, some collectors would pay a pretty penny for them. And then there are some that would like them but wouldn't give you more than $5 or so for each. I'm a huge video game magazine collector(US, Japan, UK and Australia) and have been tracking the trends for awhile.

i'd personaly be interested in the gameplayers issues and the early egms (the ones betwen 7-13 for egms ) I started collecting them from 15 on myself.

if you're looking to sell, shoot me a pm, if you're just looking for a value check please ignore me :-)

the above poster is pretty spot on about magazine value., the earlier the issue the more valuable they tend to be, the one exception is the first issue of np is less valauble then the second (simon's quest cover)

Also, condition is really important for price on the earlier issues. It becomes less important on later issues since so many more are in circulation in good shape.
