How good are they? Are they worth it? Because of my kids/entertainment center setup I can't keep a system constantly hooked up to my tv... unless I use wireless controllers.

The Acclaim Power Shot (? if I'm not mistaken) are functional but uncomfortable and it's easy to lose the connection if you tend to move about when you play. The controllers look like NES pads on steroids, with a turbo button above the A and B buttons. The IR beam shoots out from the top of the controller (where the cable would be) and zaps a small box that gets plugged into your deck with two wires. I didn't like it.
The NES Satellite has four ports for four player games and has a fairly long battery life. Standard NES controllers plug into a flat base that can sit nearby (as long as it has a clear shot to the NES). A module plugs in and covers the controller ports on the deck. Then just flip the base on and way you go. I like this better even though a cable is still involved you can move about without risking a connection break. Plus you can use pretty much any controller you want.
My 2 zenny on this.
Thanks for the reviews, but the subject is asking about n64 controllers, not nes controllers... :/
