My nephew is staying over, and we want to team up and take on some online contenders. Is this even possible? I don't see any options.

The only time we can set up a two player is in the "friends" category, but I don't have any friends with friend codes.

So is there a way we can team up and take on strangers online or no? It's confoosing.
