Wiiware games, can they be taken with you?
my sister is a dr mario addict, and this week ill be visiting her. my question is can i take my dr mario wiiware game on a sd card and play it on her wii?
i dont want to transfer it to her, but is there a way short of taking my wii for her to relapse on dr mario?
No, you can't transfer them via SD card.
The DRM is tied to the console they were purchased on.
(Though, if your Wii ever breaks and you send it to Nintendo for repairs they can transfer your license for all purchased software to a new one if it's needed.)

well that sucks. i can definatley see a downside to the digital distrubution of games. personally i hope they never go this route, i like to take my games to show my family & friends. plus they look great lined up, and i like to admire the packaging & artwork. but thanks for answering!
