How linked are the zune marketplace and the xbox live marketplace?
If I purchase music and/or videos from my zune, can my xbox live account access the same content? (my zune account is linked to my xbox live account)

I think the only way to access the content you buy on the Zune marketplace on your 360 is to;
-either connect your Zune to your 360
-stream it off your PC to your 360.
The 360 does not have direct access to or have the ability to store the content.
Connecting the Zune to the 360 is easy enough, it auto-detects all your content immediately with no restrictions. I've ripped about a dozen of my DVD's onto my Zune, and then brought my Zune to a friend's place to watch any of those movies on his tv via the 360.
There may be further integration in the future, but assume for now that your PC is the media hub that can stream to your 360.
I'm not sure exactly what the question was, but I'll also say that you can stream DRM protected music from the Zune Marketplace to the 360 with no problem.
Hmmm... I guess I should have been more specific.
What happens in the following:
1) My Zune account is linked to my xbox live account (both through my passport email address). The social link in my Zune includes my xbox live friends.
2) I purchase a movie in the Zune marketplace to watch on my Zune.
3) Xbox Live Marketplace has the same movie available.
4) Do I have free access to the Xbox Live Markplace version of the movie I purchased through my Zune?
I understand that I can connect my Zune to the 360 via wireless stream from my laptop or by plugging my Zune into the front of the 360. I'm more interested in whether buying some media in one marketplace gives you the right to access it in the other marketplace.
Except....you can't buy movies from the Zune Marketplace. They only sell music videos and TV shows.
I've purchased all of the Britney Spears videos from the Marketplace, but I don't see any of them available on Live, so I can't test it. And I've never bought a TV show from either service, sorry.
you're only buying it for the platform you're purchasing on. besides, you don't actually buy movies on xbl, you're only renting.
