The reasion I'm asking is my friend Scott just bought a used Xbox & he like to have cheat codes, Can someone explain to me why is it like that...
I thought you could cheat with it, but only in offline games. Obviously the reason they would disable cheats from some games would be because they didn't want shady ass people to try to use the device on Xbox Live. We already have enough of a cheating problem on Xbox Live without this device.

problem with action replay on the xbox, any code that runs on an unmodded system has to be encrypted and signed by microsoft. they said no to action replay. Instead, look at trainers. they do what you want, let you turn on cheats by modifying memory addresses.
