    Default Would it be possible to replace a cart battery with a clip holder?

    Kinda like what's on PC motherboards?

    I mainly ask because I have an FFII cart that's on the fritz, and thought this might be a nice option. Obviously the battery would not have to be replaced again for some time, but when that time comes, having this would make it a lot easier to replace...

    Yup...very possible. There's been several threads discussing this. Try a search on "battery clip" and you should find several.
