How to Beat Home Video Games

Is anyone familiar with this video? I'm sure there are a few. It's tempting to purchase but would like some input as to the quality of the video and if it's official (really doubt) or if there is some other media it's on.

I do not know if that one is official or not, but I can tell you that I bought the same videos at CGE last year. The one I bought has all three volumes on 1 DVD. The source material is obviously VHS and very dated. It looks like you would expect an old VHS tape to look. The one I bought says "Retail $39.95" on the back but they were selling them for either $10 or $15. Each video has tips for 20 games. It's kind of fun to watch if you like old videos but I wouldn't expect a lot of new secrets and tips.

EDIT: If you look in the picture of your auction at the photo that just has the 3 discs you can see lines coming out from underneath the labels. Those are DVD-R discs with printed labels stuck to the top of them.

Yeah, those are bootlegs.

If I bootleg something, I would rather bootleg it myself.

Still, I can't find the downloads anywhere...

Yeah, I have these. Defintely bootleg and probably the least-interesting video-game related videos I own. Everything is read very dry and a lot of the tips and tricks are obvious. I think I got it from myspleen 2-3 years ago.
