Not a clue. I don't have the system to test it.
Let's say it is.. and what would it be worth?

You had better test the controller first. It's widely known how badly they were designed, and how very few of them work now, even new in box. It would be best to locate someone with a 5200 (maybe a classic game convention!) and check it's working properly. Only the very, very late manufactured models have any kind of out-of-the-box functionality. Since only a minority of in-box controllers will work first time, you had better check before putting it on eBay.

I just wanna know if there's any value. If it's <$10 then I may just give it away or trade it for something cheap but if it's worth more I'll look into testing it out.

If it isn't working then $10 is a good day for a loose controller. Generally rebuilt controllers go for around $20 loose so if complete maybe $30 to some people, and once again on a good day. It's really questionable for demand fluxuates and I remember Wico controllers with the numeric pad going for around $60-80 a few years ago, now I just don't know. Safe bet, I'm sure you can unload it with "as is" BIN $20 + shipping on eBay and if it doesn't move then the 5200 market really has hit some rock bottom.
