    Default GC debug unit

    Hi,

    does anyone know someone with a GC debug unit spare? Or mebbe not spare but willing to take the risk and sell it anyway?

    Or mabye u have one standing in ur closet doin nothin cause ur more into Xbox stuff etc?

    Can someone enlighten me on this?

    What does a GameCube debug unit offer that a regular GameCube would not?

    Debug unit....is that the one that can play the dev-discs, or the one that can play the dev-carts? Then there's the actual development system that looks like a PC with Gamecube controller ports......Not that i have any of these mind you.

    the nr reader is a debug unit, i don't think it does a whole lot more than a normal cube, but it does play betas.

    yep Matt that is exactly what it is..:-)


    It can read NR discs. A normal GC cannot.

    A debug kit can also toggle between NTSC and PAL

    My Panasonic tv can with no problem at all.

    screen turns black/white for 1 sec and voila, from pal to ntsc and back.
