Yeah, generally $150-$175 for a loose cart in decent shape. With box or manual, triple that figure ($375-$450 for one with box, $450-$500 for one with manual), and you're looking at closer to $750-$800 for a complete copy.

I'm so glad my brother paid $5 for it many years ago at Xtra Video Club.

    CIB too.

I tried bidding on a manual 3 years ago to complete my boxed copy but my max bid of $50 wasn't enough (think it ended at $51). At the time I thought that was insane but that's an awesome deal now.

I can't believe how much prices for this game shot up over the past few years. Is Dinosaur Peak now the most expensive licensed NES game next to Stadium Events?

Yup, sure is. A complete list of expensive licensed NES games ($100 and up CIB):

    Stadium Events ($1250-$1750 loose/$6000-$8000+ CIB)
Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak ($150-$175 loose/$750-$800 CIB)
    Gyromite (big-box version) (<$5 loose/$250-$450 CIB with all parts...CIBs are very condition-dependent)
    Bubble Bobble 2 ($85-$100 loose/$250-$400 CIB...same notes as big-box Gyromite)
    Chubby Cherub ($8-$11 loose/$250-$350 CIB...same notes as big-box Gyromite)
Athletic World (Family Fun Fitness version) ($5-ish loose/$250-$350 CIB)
    Little Samson ($65-$75 loose/$250-$300 CIB)
    Bonk's Adventure ($50-$65 loose/$250-$300 CIB)
Stack-Up ($15-$20 loose/$200-$300 CIB with all parts...same notes as big-box Gyromite and Bubble Bobble 2)
Donkey Kong Jr. Math ($10-$13 loose/$100-$250 CIB...same notes as big-box Gyromite, etc.)
    Sqoon ($7-$10 loose/$125-$200 CIB)
    Snow Brothers ($40-$50 loose/$125-$150 CIB)
Pro Sport Hockey ($12-$16 loose/$120-$140 CIB)
    Color a Dinosaur ($10 loose/$120-$140 CIB)
Dragon Warrior IV ($30-$40 loose/$100-$120 CIB)
    Mario's Time Machine ($20-$25 loose/$100-$120 CIB)
    Bomberman II ($18-$22 loose/$100-$120 CIB)

That list is longer than I thought...and there are several more in the $80 range CIB...

Darn...I should've come to you when I was looking for a loose cart DK Jr. Math. I'd certainly have bought it for that.

I'd buy it for $5 as long as it's in decent shape.

I got my copy recently for 1.99 plus 3.50 shipping, for some reason the value has died on the loose copy of that one

I've come across loose Gyromite and Donkey Kong Jr. Math at goodwill not too long ago. I passed on them for some reason though. Kinda wished I'd picked them up now. I know about all the others on that list but have never seen them.

Loose neither of these are anything to write home about. It's when you find them complete that it's time to break out the party favors.
