Just got back from a couple of weeks in Europe. Bought all of the following from a couple of game stores in Paris. Prices on the SMS games were pretty good, especially when you take out what shipping would have cost. I paid a bit of a premium for the rest, but they were all worth it.

The long Echochrome box is a press kit with a pre-release UMD, press dvd, and a code to get the PS3 version of the game. Also has a series of flyers that describe the 5 laws of Echochrome.

Found a bunch of stuff today.

First Goodwill had a few complete Genesis games and 1 complete NES game, $2.99 each.

Next stop the pawn shop, found Yoshi's Island $3.

Last I went to EB and found 3 complete PS1 games, $2.99 each.

Not a bad day but I am a little upset now. Approx 2 weeks ago I bought Castlevania Bloodlines and Contra Hard Corps from a fourm member and paid a bit more then I paid for them today, oh well.

How much did you pay for Radiant Silvergun? Does it have the spine card?

It does have the spine card as well as the registration card. It's completely mint, not so much as a fingerprint on the disk. I'm not sure of the exact conversion, but it should have been about $250. I did pay a bit more than what I could have spent on ebay, but it was well worth it to have it in my hands and see it before forking over the cash. That and it sure makes a great souvenier of my trip!

I just bought an Atari 2600 (Sears 6-Switch) system, with Video Touch Pad, two Starmaster joysticks, a Suncom Joysenser, and an Atari Pro-line controller, and about 70+ loose games. All for $75. Too bad there wasnt any manuals/boxes except a Wizard of Wor and Defender manual.

There were also two game storage type things, not quite sure if they are worth anything or not, but still kinda useful to keep things organized.

I've wanted to try having a Wii in the house but I haven't thought it to be worth the cost. I saw one at Walmart and almost took the plunge. After that, I really had the Wii bug. I realized that I have some kick-ass car stereo equipment that I have never used. I was off in dream land when I bought it and when I got it, I started reading the required square footage of the box I needed for the speaker and realized that the only way to get this thing in my car is to say goodbye to my back seat. Fast forward a few years and I put it up for trade here and on Craigslist. I found a "buyer" today. For my amp alone, I got this killer Wii bundle. It includes almost everything I want for the system. All that remains to be desired is Mario Kart Wii, a Mario Kart 64 download, and the Whole Guitar Hero World Tour setup.
(Also, I still have my speaker and things to trade for a 360 bundle!)

So, here is what I got:
    (Everything is complete.)
    Wii system with Wii Sports.
Two Wii-motes. (The one that came with the system and an extra.)
    Two Nun-chucks.
    Component HDTV cable.
    Two Wii classic controllers.
    Gamecube to DS connector cable.
    Zelda: Twilight Princess. (Wii)
    Mario Galaxy. (Wii)
    Mario Party 8. (Wii)
Guitar Hero 3: LoR with guitar. (Wii)

Thanks! It was one of the few games I was actively looking for, but didn't want to turn to ebay for. It was great to fire it up and finally get to see what all the hype is about. I was not disappointed in the least!

Got Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection for the PS2 today. I've heard this isn't so hot a title but at under $8, I figured it was worth taking a small chance on.

Have you ever played Silhouette Mirage on the Saturn?
I just got myself a copy about a week ago, and Treasure's genius is quite strong within it.
Hopefully I'll be able to get RS someday. Being a Treasure game, I know I won't be dissapointed.

Only a couple of things today --

    Phaser Patrol (Atari 2600) -- 25 cents
Nintendo NES console only -- free

Also grabbed a book I've been trying to find for quite some time now -- "More BASIC Computer Games" -- it's VERY old school, it was released back in 1979. Paid 25 cents for it at a thrift store.

No, is it an import only? I'll have to keep an eye out for it!

I'm not as into shooters as much as other people that really follow them, but I do seem to enjoy all of the Treasure games I try. I got into Ikaruga for quite a while. Something about it just clicked for me and started me off on my quest to get some more of the good shooters out there.

Have any more suggestions for a relative noob in the genre?
