Hey great, I thought I overpaid. Always nice to find out when you got a good deal.
Why is Donkey Kong Classics worth so much? It's only an R2 according to the online rarity guide.

Las calles no son basurero, POR FAVOR TIREN LA BASURA EN SU LUGAR !!!!
DK Classics isn't especially expensive. I've sold about 10 copies ranging from $8-$13 depending on the market.
I got Call of Duty: Finest Hour for the Xbox today...cost $2.74 plus shipping if I recall correctly.
Picked up a SNES today for 8 dollars to complete my nintendo system collection. Also picked up a SMS to put me one system closer to my complete sega system collection. Came with double dragon. 8 dollars.
I now have SMS, genesis 1, 2, and 3, Saturn, and Dreamcast. What else am I missing. Besides the CD?

Craigslist just added a page for my area back around April or May. I remember seeing this same exact bundle around May for $65 IIRC, it's not hard for me to remember such a thing as I've only seen a handful of listings on CL for games older then PSX/N64 over the last 6 months. I saw it listed again Monday night but this time with a price of $25. I dropped an e-mail saying I was interested and didn't try offering less as in the listing it was mentioned that it was worth more so I figured the seller had a relatively good idea of what it sold for online so low balling or even trying to offer $20 didn't seem polite/like a good idea. I meet the guy today and was happy to see that both of the Mario games were complete which wasen't mentioned in the listing.
Assuming US?: There were two common models of Saturn and Dreamcast (the black sports edition and regular white). And the JVC X'eye and Sega CDX are absent from your list. Probably something I'm forgetting. I'd also add Sega Nomad, and Game Gear, but you might not care about handhelds. There were multiple SMS releases as well, with different (or none) built-in games, but that's starting to split hairs.
There are all kinds of variants if you add imports.
If you want to get really picky, I think there was a special Dreamcast with a TV built-in. Maybe a Seaman special edition? I don't remember for sure, but I know someone posted pics of something along these lines when they got theirs. Not sure if it was sold retail in the US.
btw, nice pickups on both the SMS and SNES! Same to FOnewearl on his SNES lot.
DK classics seems to be common around here, and I constantly see copies for $5-10. Are they worth reselling?
You're thinking of the Divers DC. That wasn't sold here in the states and is quite a rare and pricy creature. There were numerous Limited Edition Dreamcasts as well, of which the Seaman was one of them, and all Japanese.
The posters list would also be missing the 32X. It like the Sega CD is one of those add-ons that just doesn't quite work without that Genesis to power that baby. But if you're counting Genesis models, don't forget to get both Sega CD models.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

yesterday i ended up at a play n trade about an hour from my house and bought a used slim ps2 along with heavenly sword for ps3 for a little over $100 total. not exactly a deal, but thats ok.
Got this via UPS today from Rockstar Games:
For those who don't know, it's the prize for being one of the first to get 100% completion in GTA IV. They had said it'd take about four months or so to come, and I had almost forgotten about it when the UPS guy knocked on my door and handed it to me yesterday. I also picked up Valkyria Chronicles for PS3 for $38.
Hay that is cool, just seen that key on eBay it's at $280.00 right now.
not bad for being good at a game

Cool stuff today.
I found a Sam & Max: Freelance Police CD for three bucks. It also included a boot floppy... a 5.25" boot floppy. o_O WTF.
Later on I found a Starcraft CD for a buck. I went around the flea market and found next to nothing until I got close to the outer edge, when I found a guy selling complete PS1 games for $5, and disc only ones for $4. The $5 ones weren't too interesting but the guy had loose copies of Resident Evil 2 and Braindead 13... and he wanted $8 for each. I left.
A bit later I found a complete copy of The 7th Guest for $2. I already have like three copies... but this one included the VHS making-of tape so I figured it wouldn't hurt to get it too. I also got a mint copy of Jamiroquai's "Synkronized" album.
I was on my way out when I decided to stop by another booth, and I found copies of Microsoft Digital Image Suite ($2) and... Nascar Racing 2003 Season! This game routinely sells for more than $75 on eBay. Woot.
---
When I got home I left and took a walk along the flea market that sets up close to my home every Wednesday, looking for an old movie I need for a project. I couldn't find it but I did find copies of Head Rush and You Don't Know Jack Sports, both for 10 pesos! (Around 85 US cents!)
And that's it. Now if only those damn eBay buyers would PAY me already...
