Default Help replacing TurboExpress corroded battery terminals

I purchased a "mint" TurboExpress off ebay at a good price. The system really is in excellent shape. No scratches on screen, no scratches on the body, screen is bright and sound is good. Here is the only flaw. Apparently someone left batteries in the damn thing and the leads (or springs) are corroded. They still work with batteries, but I am afraid one or more of these are going to snap sooner or later as they feel a little fragile. The seller was actually a person that does repair on these devices, but claimed he didn't have the time to waste on me because he didn't make a profit in the auction. Heh.

Anyway, I went to radio shack thinking that I could pick up a standard battery compartment part ($1.99 - Catalog #: 270-387) but they are much different and I can tell that they would not work as replacements. These are kind of odd with the other half of the spring curled in a way (see pic). Does anyone know where I can get these? Or, does anyone know who I can go to to have these replaced?

You can probally clean them, or have them cleaned. The best replacement is probally going to be from a busted TurboExpress.

You can also try to get some or all of your money back becasue the item was not as described in the auction.
