    Default Genesis Sealed games

Any tips on how to spot a legit or illegitimate sealed Genesis game?

one way to tell is if the hangtab is bent over the top of the box and shrink wrapped over it. Other than that it would probably take close examination of seems and sloppiness of the job.

The hang tab should be on the outside of the shrink wrap, as mentioned in the post above. I always found that the case itself caused the shrink to get holes in it where it was stretched over the raised edges. So hole in the shrink don't necessary mean it is a re-seal, or a "sloppy job".

One thing to look out for would be if any of the holes in the shrink wrap are just holes where the edge was poked, or is splitting at the seams, of if the holes are caused by too much heat in the shrink wrap process. If too much heat is used the edges will have a burnt or carmel colored melted plastic balls on the seam. There should be no "burn" or melted plastic on the seam of a factory seal.
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

    Default Sealed Genesis Games

I once picked up a half dozen copies of Warrior of Rome II at a thrift store that were all factory sealed. Based on the stuff that I found that day it must have been donated by an ex-Micronet employee. The odd thing is that some of the sealed copies of Warrior of Rome II had numbers written in ink on the boxes with the factory seal over them.
