Haha. nice.
This game looks as awesome as Devil May Cry 4 (I know Hideki Kamiya is involved) and it's in my top 5 most wanted games.
I hope they do the english lip-syncing as well as what was done in DMC4.

A new video showing a bunch of combos (this is the loading screen!). This looks better than Devil May Cry 4. Looks like it has more combos and the scenes look like they'll be as awesome as DMC (as long as good lip-syncing is there).

The gameplay to Bayonetta is going to be awesome. The only thing, just like I posted in another thread, the art style is terrible. Sure, I'm going to play it and I'm going to like it, but could they have went with a shittier art style? Possibly not.
I've been watching this title closely for some time. I like the over the top presentation, and count me as someone who likes the art design as well as the gameplay. The only thing that would keep me away from this is if the difficulty is too high.
Extremely pretty, great music and sound effects. Problem to me is, it's got horribly cheesy dialogue, terrible voice acting, and these make a very (seemingly) nice package dorky.

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!

They still haven't shown a "full" scene from the game, or at least I haven't seen one. Maybe they aren't done with that part yet.

I got to see the first trailer as I was in the presentation @ SDCC. It's looking impressive!
There was also rabid Otaku promise as two of the people from Platinum had flown over from Japan for it and all the Q&A was conducted in Japanese and English...
A demo is now available on the Japanese PSN.

At comic-con I went to a vip party with the sega people who made this game. It was sweat free food and drinks. Also on the con floor they had 3 stations with 40 people always tring to get on them. They also had a lady dressed like her. SWEET!!! She didn't have guns on her boots though? If I can get my girlfriend to bring her camera over I'll post some pics. But ya that game is bad ass. They had 6 stations set up and showed us all types of fotage. They had a contest to see who could get the most stars on the demo. Some kid got 1600 or 1900? Think I got 900. They gave away one of the pistles from the live action wire capture thing. Framed. That was the grand prize. Second prize was a set of concept Glossy art by the girl who lead the design team. Every one got signed bayanetta pictures by the whole team. The main guy wasn't there though. Sorry I don't know all there names or how I'd spell them.

Which version did you play? Supposedly the PS3 demos at the events had framerate issues. I've lost a lot of interest in the game because of it. That's the main reason I'm downloading the demo, to see if they fixed it.

A kid there said he was at e3 and it was the same one. He's the one who won becuase he had played the demo more. You started in a castle kinda building picked up so free stars by braking stuff. Then went out into a court yard and fought some guys. I think this is where it seperated the winners from the loseres. If you stayed and killed all the guys that was it. 900 points. But I was watching other people croossing some bridge and fighting a really big guy while dodging him. If you did some of both 1600 points.

Good news. It ran smoothly on my PS3. I think it was the same demo that was at E3 or whatever event it was.

So ... her hair ... becomes her body-suit and vice/versa.
That is perhaps the most un-hygienic thing a game developer has ever thought of.
She's clearly free-balling it in the trailers ... so, her "hair suit", is all square up against her lady-bits, then she uses it to kill big smelly undead demons ... and then it's right back to where it was without a shampoo or anything.
I wonder if there's a mini-game where she has to avoid getting a urinary tract infection.
