    i can pick up a commodore 1702 monitor for $15 at goodwill. would it be worth to sell it?

    Only real question is how popular are they locally? Shipping monitors is a pain and drives your price down as the shipping goes up, remember that.

    $15-20 is the going price, and you'll rarely see anyone really buy it from Ebay due to shipping costs.

    Indeed. The monitors are great for game players and some will seek them out. But if you're looking to sell to someone else, it'd better be a pick-up deal since these things weigh a ton, are very fragile, so shipping would cost $30-$50 for starters.
