Default Strategy Guide for Lego Star Wars: TCS

Is this thing rare or something? On eBay, these books are selling over $50. On Amazon, the cheapest price is $70. One asshole is charging $200.
    What gives?

Just looked at the completed listings of this, and holy shit!!!!

I got this for a penny at circuit city, and sold it to my bro for $2. Should have kept it. >_<

Why is it going for so much o_O

I'm about as big of a Lego Star Wars fan as there is, but holy hell. Besides one doesn't really need a guide for the game... it's not like its a very hard game.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

it wasn't out for very long at all, about as short as the shiny silver zelda/ocarina guide.
and the game did have alot of little thigns that were fairly tough to locate for a completist.

Not hard, but it's the kind of game where you keep playing thru trying to get 100%. I'm usually done with games as soon as I beat them, but the Lego SW games were strangely addicting for me.

When I was playing it, I kept referring to the GameFAQs guides. It was real hard trying to find all the hidden block loactions with an all-text guide, so I can understand why the official guides are selling for so much. $50 is still pretty nuts though.

Exactly. If I just wanted to beat the game and be done with it, I could have already done it by now. I hate seeing al those 25%, 80% completed levels everywhere.
Plus I want all the achievements.
