Just wondering if you guys buy a huge amount of games like I do.
I've already bought 5 this week, and about 40 last week because of a huge lot.
It's an addiction. >_>

No set ammount. It's different every week.
I usually stick to a dollar amount when I go shopping rather than a number of games. I haven't gone out in a while, but when I did I usually stuck to around $25 dollars, and I would go out every other week.
Add up how many I get during the year and divide by 52, about 3 a week. It really depends on my luck during garage sale season. New game wise, about 10 a year.
Depends, really.
I have a budget every month on gaming stuff. Sometimes that money gets blown in a single day of ebay shopping. Other times it drags on. Now, within the last week I've probably bought 10 games or so. :P
It varies every week. But fellow DP member DigitalSpace buys like 4-8 games a day, so I'm sure that gets rounded up to like a thousand a week.

I average 3-5 a week
Maybe 1/2 a game a week? 1/4 of a game when things are tight

That really depends. Sometimes I'm saving up for a rare game and I can't buy anything for a month or two... while others I'll run into a lot of 20 games on ebay or a yard sale for 20 bucks, and I'll pick it up without thinking twice. The real question is how much money is spent (as there's a huge difference in quality/quantity when it comes to games) (IE, you can buy 50 copies of the legend of zelda for nes for 10 dollars a cart, or you can "buy it now" one of the sealed 500 dollar copies)
Money spent when i have it is about 10-25 a week.
If my DB averages are correct, then it's roughly 6 per week.
Wants:
Starflight Starmap and Code Wheel
Starflight II Starmap
Got these for sale or trade? PM ME!!!
It depends on how much the stores I go to have. Sometimes I get nothing.
At least 5 or 6 a week :S
I just can't control myself when i see a game that i like :S

I usually acquire 1-2 games per week. I could easily find a lot more but I don't like having a bunch of games around that I never play. As a result, I try to trade in 1-2 games per week at one place or another to help balance things. This prevents my collection from becoming too bloated.
Example:
During a recent week, I acquired:
-NCAA Football 2004 for PS2
-MLB 2006 for PS2
To offset the addition of the above titles, during the same week I traded in:
-NBA Jam TE (Genesis)
-MLB 2004 (Playstation 2)
NBA Jam TE is fun as hell but bottom line is that each hour I spend playing that is one less hour I get to spend playing like 40 other games I could be spending time with. Only so many hours in a day. And I sure as heck can't bring myself to let NBA Jam TE sit around collecting dust since the game is too addicting. So I traded it into our local used game store.
All that means, though, is that I will end up buying and playing a different copy of NBA Jam TE which I am surely going to see in Goodwill or Salvation Army sooner or later anyway. So it isn't like I am saying goodbye forever. And when I find that next copy, I'll just trade in something else to make room for another copy of NBA Jam TE for a few months until I trade it in again.

It all depends on what I find while thrift store shopping, and what machine they're for. I'm not a Nintendo fan, so unless it's a really unusual game, I'll leave it be. If I come across Atari games, I have to find something I don't already have, which tends to be difficult. Anything from the 16-bit era onward, I only find sports games. And I don't trust buying PS1 games that are scotch-taped up anymore, since I've been burned a few times when I open the jewel case and find something other than what's supposed to be in there (and once, no disc in the case but with a thick manual making it feel full).
I'd buy more stuff if I could come across it in the wild, but there's so many eBay douchebags who scoop up anything classic game related just to flip online, it's getting pretty damn difficult to locate anything anymore.
Depends if money is tight one game for the month that's it.Now if i'm doing ok 3 to 4 games or more when i find good deals for it.
Many, if I buy in bulk (bought a big Super Famicom lot this week, 100+ games, cheap). Few, if I buy singly.
If I stay off the auction sites, I buy maybe 1-2 games a week on average. With the bulk deals, um...
I used to be that way...doubt that I ever bought something every week but I did used to buy an awful lot, getting them in bunches sometimes. Now I sometimes go a few months without buying any.
