A few. A couple of dualshock 2s bit the dust thanks to Soul Calibur 3, and one of my Wiimotes is currently only used as a port for the classic controller thanks to Mario Galaxy (no prizes for guessing which mission). One of my Guitar Hero guitars nearly got the Pete Townshend treatment thanks to the final battle in GH3, too.

Surprisingly the two games that have made me throw controlllers are Wii(Boom Blox and No More Heroes) games. Its really really stupid but either have broken....yet. I actually have a Gamecube controller made up completely bad parts(I have replaced the analog sticks on a lot of them, due to hours of intense Smash Bros playing and not wanting to pay for new/used wavebirds) that I put together just to throw.

I've broken or worn out a bunch of controllers through general use. When I was a kid I and my friends played a lot of NES. We were also poor kids so we couldn't really buy new controllers when they wore out and I remember having a drawer full of nearly worn out ones collected from around the neighborhood and searching through them for the ones that still kinda worked well enough to play.

But I've only actually broken one, the Dualshock I bought for my PSX. I was playing an early outdoor level in Tenchu 2 and trying to master the stealthy approach when the frustration of having to continually restart the stage only to screw up near the same part overwhelmed me and I just snapped. I was sitting on the floor and I slammed my Dualshock on it several times in quick succession. Unfortunately I cracked the case and from then on if I was holding my hands just right I would get a little electric shock when it rumbled, a reminder of my loss of control. We actually had a shocky SNES controller, too, but that was because it broke legitimately and we did something wrong in an attempt to fix it.

I do get mad at games, but I rarely hit things, I mostly just yell obscenities and threats at the things that are getting in my way.
