When I first talked to this seller, he said he got it for $500. Then later he said he was selling it for someone else so he couldn't go below what he was asked to sell it for.
Yeah the 50,000 units sold came from some site I couldn't find again when I searched for the emulator and roms. But yeah Wikipedia says it too. Either they got their information from Wikipedia or the information could be right. I hope there were actually 50,000 units and not 10,000. I know on
www.ultimateconsoledatabase.com that guy said he was willing to trade his extra car for one of those.
I'm trying to buy one of these, but I don't think I want this one. I would rather buy one from someone on here who is more reliable and well known as a good seller. Anything that has its own screen needs to be guaranteed if being mailed. I ordered a Vectrex once that worked fine before it was shipped. When it got here, magnetism had damaged it. It probably traveled next to an order of large speakers. But that was $100. I can't imagine wasting over $1000 on a situation like that since he doesn't except returns.
I'm hoping there will be someone out there who will part with theirs if I save up enough money toward it.
EDIT: Here's another site saying 50,000

and here's the footnote that shows where the information came from
