I Was waiting for someone to say that. I Play Mega Man 2 Alot, And i used to HATE heatman's stage. But now, I Actually memorized the blocks and rarely fall off.
I usually just cheated and used Item-2 to cross that pit.
Definitely the MM8 ski stages, particularly Wily 1. So much rage.
Hmm...Guts Man is worth mentioning, but I've gotten better...
Crystal Man always seemed annoying to me. The crystal drops from the ceiling had a really weird pattern. Then the soldiers that fired crystals at you doing lots of damage.
Of recent note till I got more used to it, Nitro Man's level seemed to be a pain. My friend laughed at how many times we died on that one.

Wow, no mention of the propeller platforms on Iceman's stage? The erratic movement patterns and the fact that they're firing at you make them difficult enough to begin with, but the fact that you'll occasionally fall right through one for no good reason is why I dread this stage.
I used to have extreme difficulty with the moving platforms in Guts Man's stage, but now I don't really die at all. In fact, I'm surprised at how short that stage really is now that I've gotten better at it.
The disappearing platforms in Ice Man's stage are still annoying. There's not really anything fun about that stage, now that I think about it.
The ride chaser stages in X7-X8 are just badly implemented. The one in X8 makes me feel like I'm playing Microcosm, minus the silly dubbing. I liked how the ride chaser was done in X2, since it felt like an extension of the ride armor concept, if not done quite as well. Even the PSX games with their on-rails stages were passable, if frustrating. Making them 3D just exacerbated the design flaws.
