Default Formula One game check on the PS1

I'm doing some work on my PS list and had a question about a game: Was the game pictured here (http://art.half.ebay.com/prod/1190312.jpeg) released for the Playstation in America?

Also, if anyone is into F1, I know of the following PS1 releases:
    F1 2000 (EA)
    F1 Championship Season 2000 (EA)
    F1 Racing Championship (Ubisoft)
F1 World Grand Prix Season 1999 (Eidos)
Formula 1 (Psygnosis, also in Greatest Hits version)
    Formula 1 Championship Edition (Psygnosis)
    Formula 1 98 (Psygnosis)
    Formula One 99 (Psygnosis)

Can anyone confirm any others or deconfirm any of these titles? The only other rumored title I know of is "F1 Championship 99", but I think this is the game listed as F1 Racing Championship. Those titles should be exactly as written on the cover of the game. Thanks for the help!

    Default And one more check:

Two more quick questions: There are two versions of NASCAR 98 (one with a black and white cover that says Collector's Edition, one with the normal EA Sports). Does anyone know if there is any difference in gameplay between the two or is it merely a cover variation? I think there is variation in game content, but I'm not sure.

Also, of the Collector's Edition packages that QoF mentioned here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11872), do all of those packages have cover variations? I've only seen the individual Spyro titles, and they have "Collector's Edition" at the top. How about the other CE's/compilations/value paks listed by QoF?

    Thanks!
    Kevin

Here's one missing from your list.

It's the sequel to F1 World Grand Prix Season 1999 (Eidos).

The rest of the list looks accurate. I've never seen the Formula One 2000 that you provided the link for.

As for NASCAR '98, I belive the CE version has additional drivers, but it's been a while since I've seen it.

    Thanks Mike.

You've seen that sequel to the Eidos F1 game? I'll have to throw it on the list - I've seen it mentioned a few times, but I've never seen a photo or 1st person confirmation that it was a US release.

I had it in stock in my store a couple of years ago, which is where I got the scan from. If memory serves, it was in a double cd case.

Yes. That Formula One 2000 title was indeed released here. Published by Midway, if my memory serves me correctly. I've only seen it once-at Target in the bargain games section about 6-8 months ago. Picked it up for like $10.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.
