Metal Gear Solid 2 on XBOX
Today I picked up a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance for the original XBOX. I was not aware that there were any Metal Gears for the XBOX or any other console for that matter besides the originals. I have looked it up on wikipedia since I got it so I understand that I was obviously wrong but I was just curious how many people actually knew that this existed. Maybe I was living in a cave when it was released I dont know. Give me some feedback.
It's a really bad port of the PS2 version. Not much else to say about it, it's not rare or anything.

This reminds me of the time I was at Gamestop and both clerks there told a woman she couldn't get Final Fantasy 11 for the Xbox 360 because it was only made for the PS2. I of course stepped in to layeth the smacketh down upon their ignorant asses.

The controls are horrific. That game is the reason i don't like the MGS series.
I find the controls very easy, then again every game doesn't suite everyone.
I knew also this game isn't rare at all,it sells for cheap as hell.
As for the PS2 version that used to be RARE but no its a common, just like the XBOX version. I mean seriously I bougt my copy on ebay for $39.95 shipping included for PS2. This was back in 2006 I say in a way it was worth it it was 100% MINT, had a Brand New box even. The a few months later I see it in the DP store for $25.00, I kinda kicked my self but not really.
Then just a few months ago (2008) I saw it at Gamestop where it was a one time selling for $29.99, now selling for $12.00.
Sorry for the rant but I thought I would share this with everyone.

I actually liked this version better thanks to the 480p graphics and 5.1 sound, it looked and sounded alot better. I never ran into much slowdown, I tried both versions side by side and preferred the Xbox.
