    Default sega repair

    hi i have a sega cdx and need to replace the voltage regulator i have tryed 7805 but dont work and i am useing a 9.5v 1.5amp power pack

    Is the regulator getting power? Is the regulator outputing power?

    no i have checked the fuse and the fuse is fine

    Ok, if the 7805 isn't getting power, check if the solder points in the power jack are good. Reflow if needed.



    Try testing all the components that are laid from the power jack to the regulator. If that fails, try soldering a wire directly from the power jack to the regulator. It might be that some traces on the PCB are damaged.

    yes thanks i have checked and refulxed it with the luqid type and they still dont get power
