Need help with Intellivision AV mod

I just performed the Intelly mod from here, but does anyone know what would cause the screen to have distortion when the music plays? When I did it, I found that the 5v pin was a little too much, so I put a 30ohm resistor on it and the picture was great. Then the music started and the screen would shake. Any game that has constant music is unplayable. I have a 100uf cap on the audio, but do you think it needs more? Perhaps I need to change a resistor value elsewhere, but I do not know how to approach finding the one to change/what to change it to. Any help would be appreciated.

PS- One of the weird things I found was that the mod would not work, unless I switched the 5v and ground leads going to the circuit. The only problem was the 'ground' for the audio and video were 5v. It actually worked this way. I tried to ground the a/v grounds separately, but I don't get video that way. I also tried to isolate the audio as much as I could, but it didn't help.

Oh, nevermind, I fixed it. I remade the whole thing on a breadboard and found out that the pinout for the transistor I had was wrong, so those badboys were in there backwards. Everything works peachy now.
