    Default N64 Picture Quality Mod?

Does anyone out there mod the n64 for anything higher than s-video? I've heard people have done RGB mods but i don't own a tv that supports that. If anyone knows of someone who can RGB mod but with a converter to use component or a regular PC input let me know.

    The easiest way would be:

N64 RGB mod + SNES SCART RGB cable + SCART RGB to component encoder (NOT adapter).

    Some encoders:
JROK (this one will require a custom cable, but you can use the SCART cable to make it)

    CSY-2100

    Aptus-1

Take in mind that SCART can be used for composite or S-Video too, so make sure that it is an SCART RGB cable before buying it.

The mod isn't difficult. Here's a link showing how it's done:

I don't have any experience with soldering, plus i would need some kind of signal booster installed since it would be too dark otherwise.

I the level of improvement from S-video to component really worth it? It's too bad the N64 can't be modded to run at a higher resolution.
