    Default Help with Indiana Jones

    Hey all,
I'm going to be looking to repair an Indiana Jones machine for a guy in his home at some point in the near future. The problem is the power supply is either bad or missing. Anybody know what type of p.s. is used in this thing? Or if I can just use a standard switching p.s. instead? I don't know if he's got the manual or anything, and it'd be nice to have an idea before going in totally blind. Thanks. BTW, it is a dedicated cabinet, from what he says.

I don't know for a fact but I have a RoadBlasters (Atari, roughly the same age). I had to replace the power supply on it and it's definitely a plain ol' switching power supply.

You'll want to track down the Atari System I manual, the IJTOD manual only mentions the items available in the kit (PCB, CP, marquee).

IIRC, some of the System I cabs had switchers, some didn't. You can probably put a switcher in there, but you won't know what lies ahead until you see the cab.

*Roadblasters was the final System I game.

Thanks for the help. I did find a IJTOD manual in PDF online, but, as Arcade Antics said, it only shows the CP,Marquee, etc. So, yeah, I'll have to dig through my pile and see if I have a system I manual.
