Default HUGE Score!! Please View!! Nice Pics.

OK, I'm excited about this score I got today. I think it deserves a seperate thread from weekend finds. I came into work today, and was greeted with 4 boxes full of Atari stuff. This old guy is retiring and moving to Florida, and he knew I like videogames, so he thought he would ask me if I wanted to buy the stuff before he puts it in his moving sale. I said hell yes!! and bought all this for $100.

Ok, here's about half of the boxed 2600 stuff I got. Alot of Sears versions.

Here's the other half of boxed 2600 stuff. Boxed RACE! Also, I wonder if that TAC-3 joystick is in the DP guide?

Ok, here's just a pic of the carts, and a Darth Vader. With a mint in box Power plug, never used.

Ok, looks like the IMAGIC game boxes didn't come out in the pic. I got Demon Attack, Dragonfire, Fire Fighter, and Riddle of the Sphinx, these puppies are all MINT MINT MINT too. I'm so excited..so what do you think? Good score or what?

Sorry about if the pics are too big.

Well, I'm not trying to be a killjoy or anything but there isn't a single rare one in the lot. It's nice that they're all boxed, but most of those games aren't worth a single dollar.

I just skimmed the lot in DP7 and the loose carts would be worth around $100. The boxes are awesome man! Never mind the fact that there aren't any rares there, I think it's a pretty sweet deal.

Take care. Did I mention the boxes rock?

@Charlie - The only complete Atari 2600 games NOT worth at least a dollar are those Osheas titles and maybe Combat. Hell even the Osheas titles sell for $5.00. Find me a mint complete Sears or Activision or Imagic game on ebay for $1.00.

    THATS A GREAT FIND.

While there may not be anything rare in the lot I know that I'd pay more than a buck a peice for almost any mint boxed 2600 game. The Telegames are probably worth at least a buch each loose. The Superman and Video Checkers are nice finds as well.

Yeah, thanks for backing me up here guys! I wouldn't have bought them if they didn't have the boxes! I already had most of the carts loose already, and I only ended up expanding my actual collection by about 5 games today, but I couldn't pass up these excellent condition boxes! You don't come across these all the time.

You're out of your head. That's a rockin' score. Every cart is worth a dollar and most several cents more.

I love all the Sears stuff, esp. the boxed paddles and keyboard controllers (didn't know there was a sears box for that.) I vote that score of the week.
