Needs more stock. And the games that are there are predominantly very common titles and sports titles. Many folks here have more and better items in their For Sale threads, which gives little incentive to patronize your website.

That said, the layout is clean and easy to use. It loads fast because images are small. It's easy to read with a white background. But it also looks far too generic, like you bought a premade store, installed it, and just added a few pictures.

Sorry if that seems harsh, but I figure honest feedback is better than patronizing you.

I understand what you mean I havebeen working on this site for a week.

There is so much to get done I just finley got all the meta done and made the file to upload the products to google/froogle

I will increase the stock as fast as I can and try to get more quality games in there I was just thinking that more items in the sote may make Google and the like list it faster

What do you think of the pricing?

    Thank you for the info

It's not a classic gaming site, it's a commercial site selling games. Big difference. When you mentioned your site, I expected something containing articles and pictures.

Working the Google system is always interesting. I recommend checking out spidering and their adsense system as those help get you higher on the rankings.

I am not digging the fact that you are using screenshots for the games for sale rather than a pictures of the actual games.

I wish you luck using OsCommerce (which I think it is if im not mistaken)...

Its very dated and there are much better packages available now that can be intergrated into a content management driven site.

My biggest complaint about purchasing games online is everyone says a game is in "good condition" or "very good condition" but that is very subjective. One persons very good is another persons fair.

I would suggest coming up with a grading legend so that it is spelled out exactly what the customer is getting. This with actual pictures i think will make buyers feel more confident which i think is key for classic games.

I agree. "very good" "great" and "nice" seem to be common words used on ebay to get around giving details about a title's real condition, while also technically being correct. It's kind of infuriating sometimes playing ping pong with folks, trying to eke out details about the real condition before the auction ends...

    oh, sorry. tangential rant.

I think that even if you have grading scale people's opinions of what constitutes mint and so forth vary widely. The best option is show pictures of the actual game, describe its condition and to have a money back policy.

Liking the idea in using screenshots and giving the customer a taste of what they can expect from the game. I always resort to youtube when I want to see what a game is like. But I agree with the others, you should add pictures of the games themselves.

if your going to create a site, at least put some content on there. you might as well go put that on ebay or cl or CTCW. Personally, if i was googling and came across your site, i wouldnt buy from it. No photos of the products, tiny screen shots of the games and the fact that you said software returns arent permissable is annoying. You sell nothin but software on there and yet it's a crap shoot if we get a good cart or a sharpie'd cart

    /cynical

    I like the url though.

I like the screenshots. If it's only a few bucks I buy a game without researching it, usually just going by screenshots that are on the site. Some prices are hit or miss. I don't like how you can't see how much shipping costs are or that the cart itself isn't pictured. Otherwise, not too bad. I like the small pics. Makes things alot simpler for us dial-up folk in the boonies.
