I think you should take it back. Clearly if you enjoy playing it but we do not like it you should get rid of the thing. Use the money to buy some confidence. or a pack of smokes.

If you are goth then keep it but use a sharpy to make the label all dark and edgy. Emo then play it and have fun but write a blog about how you hate it because it doesnt mater and life is stupid.
If you are a jock keep it but dont let anybody know you have it and secretly wank to it while making fun of people that like it on public forums.
If you are an adult play it and decide for yourself.
