    Default PS1 Controller

About two days ago, my neighbor had given me a Playstation with about 18 games and a controller. upon looking a bit more in depth the Controller has no Joysticks. I was wondering if it was common or not because i have never seen one and all of my other controllers have joysticks.

    Thanks, Nytro

That is a normal PS controller. The one with joysticks are commonly called "Dual Shock" controllers.

It's the female version of the controller. It was really popular in Japan, but phased out over here, since most male gamers didn't like it.

    Uhhhhhhh no.

The controller is just the original digital controller that was released when the system launched. A few years later they released the analog based DualShock. Worth at best, a few bucks. If it was one of the official white or red ones you could expect a few bucks more.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
