    Default Sealed Atari 2600 Games

What are sealed 2600 copies of Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Jungle Hunt, and Dig Dug worth? They are factory sealed and have the little plastic hangers on the top for hanging in the store.

I bought them all together for $20 way back when.

Pictures here, although not singled out:

Probably wouldn't even be able to get your $20 back if you were to sell them. That Pac-Man cart is for the 5200, probably net you about $1-$2 as the only more common 5200 cart is Super Breakout. 2600 Jungle Hunt and Dig Dug also about $2-3 each, and maybe $5 for Ms. Pac-Man.

Sealed? I don't know Atari stuff, but I doubt that. Methinks you skipped the important word in the title!

Yep, its actually pretty easy to get some atari games sealed. 7800 games for example pop up all the time NIB for cheap prices.

Didn't skip it at all, those games are among the most common sealed 2600 finds.

Really? I would have thought that games as old as that would be super hard to find sealed, especially when they are as popular as those titles. I guess I've just proved that I really don't know Atari stuff!

Yeah sadly this is true. I bought a large lot of sealed Atari games a while back and inquired as to their value here. Seems they were a dime a dozen after the crash and continue to be so....

    Some completed auctions:

    Mrs. Pac-Man - sold for $13.50 shipped.

Jungle Hunt - Sold for $11 shipped.

Six Sealed Games inc. Dig Dug - Didn't sell at around $30 shipped.

Of course, basing things off Ebay isn't always the greatest. Someone got Beat Em & Eat Em brand new for around $30 shipped. Unless I'm wildly mistaken, that's a pretty good steal there.

Ebay is the wrong place to be pricing these super common games. A better reference is the various web stores specializing in classic games. Those silver box 2600 games are worth a buck or two each in mint/sealed condition. Any damage and they are worth about as much as a loose cartridge which is maybe fifty cents to a dollar. There is a place in the mid-west called O'Sheas which dumped literally a million of these carts on the market starting in the early 90s. I believe they still have many in stock.

Oh well...I didn't think they were "that" rare, but the good news is I still have them, regardless. Thanks!~

I usually pay about $5 for sealed 2600/5200 stuff in the wild.

Have you people never heard of O'Shea's? Brand new, still sealed Atari 2600/7800 games still for sale for $5.00 each.

    And yes,

Ms. Pac-Man, Jungle Hunt, and Dig Dug are all available right now from them. So anyone can get those new for $15 without even trying.

EDIT: I see Bojay beat me to the punch.

Man I didn't know about this. It makes so much sence! It's kinda cool in a weird videogame history way. That still someone is tring to get rid of sealed mint copies of Atari games. Crazy! Also glad my sealed copy of Space Attack by M Network wasn't on the list. Sweet. I have one not on the list but still worth....... 5 bucks.Lol.

I'd love to see production numbers on these carts...I wonder if the urban legends are true and they actually did produce more of some carts than the total number of 2600 systems...
