I've got enough controllers for the Wii, thanks!
give me six face buttons and ill be interested
I got something that does the exact same thing over a year ago from Nyko.
Looks wack. Waiting for Hori to come out with something new too.
Ehhh the changes look so marginal and i already have oh so many wii controllers and accessories. Nintendo is overdoing it a bit then again they did it with the nes and it gave some cool collecting opportunities.

That looks like it could have been snapped onto the back of the existing Classic Controller. There are already spring-loaded clips there for just such a device, and they could have devised some sort of pass-through connector for the additional buttons.
Why make a brand new controller? I won't be buying this one.

It'll be perfect for all the PS2 ports.
They just need to come out with a new Wavebird with Wii buttons. Until then...who cares.

Didn't nintendo come out last year and say they wouldn't be making any more controllers for the wii because the market was already oversaturated?
Let's see...
3 x @ $40 Wiimotes
3 x @ $20 Nunchucks
2 x @ $20 Classic controllers
2 x @ $15 Wheel
____________
$250
Wow... i've already spent more on controllers then i did on the console. I have to say, i'm pretty sick of the crap nintendo's pulling on the wii.
HMM... maybe I'll hold off on getting a pair of the classic controllers and get me a pair of these instead... any word on a US release date for these soon?
It makes sense to do this going forward as the new improved version. But if they try to run these products side by side with the original i think theyll just be shooting themselves in the foot.

Dear Nintendo,
Just what is it that you guys have against diagonals? Would it kill you to make a d-pad that isn't cross-shaped?

Nintendo's d-pad designs have always been the best on the market.
So perhaps that's why they're not going to change it?
With as large (thick) as that thing is, I wonder why the didn't make it wireless. It doesn't need to have all the Gyro and motion detection of the Wii Remote. Why not make it wireless? I would play more Virtual Console games if I didn't have to have the Classic Controller connected to my Wii Remote.
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!
