Interested in trading the super metroid?
I got 2 PS2 games, both complete
Culdcept and Ephemeral Fantasia for $10, both in good condition the cover art has some noticeable wear, but nothing terrible.
I usually don't go to flea markets in the winter or goodwill on the weekends, but today I wasn't particularly busy so I decided to do both.
From Goodwill(s):
JVC X'EYE - $10. Not sure if it works yet since it didn't come with a power supply (I already ordered one though, so that's almost another $20). Besides coming with a few common genesis games taped around it, two 6 button controllers, a Saturn controller and a PS1 AV cable were taped around it as well...
I also got: Gradius V, God of War and Sega Classics Collection - All complete and in mint condition $5 each
Flea market:
(Genesis) Alex Kidd in the enchanted castle and Target Earth - Both Complete $3 each.
(PS1) Valkyrie Profile - Complete $5
picked up socom fireteam bravo 2 and god of war chains of olympus from gamestop for psp (this is the 2nd time i bought these games because i stupidly sold my psp several months ago but recently just bought a new one.)
To kick things off, a couple items from one of the jobs...
Extra Street Fighter IV promo Chun Li figures and a Sansa e250 media player. Figures were free and the player was old lost clearance for $20.00. I've installed rockbox on it and it's actually a damn nice player.
However the big one, one of my personal arcade grails has been achieved, I finally own a Klax cabaret...
It's in really nice shape although it does need a new control panel overlay. I paid $225.00 including delivery, can't complain. It works great except on occasion there's a slight purple hue flicker across the display. I'm guessing something is just loose (I've already reseated stuff on the PCB, etc. but haven't went through it totally) as it didn't have said problem before moving it.
not a bad start for me... for trading a couple hours worth of computer work I got a Sega CDX system... with Ecco CD still in the system. Hoo-fucking-ray!

Holy crap. It's been a while.
It may not be the nineties, but there is still time for Klax.
Anyways, I kicked off the month with an NES game:
M.C. Kids (cart only) - $2.50
TNA Impact $7.48 at Target
Code Name: The Cleaner $3.00 at Circuit City
Psyclone 360 Recharge Kit W/2 Batteries(sealed) $9.99 at Goodwill
1600 Microsoft Points $19.99 at Best Buy
Bunch of Xbox kiosk demos from my friend Amanda
Strategy guides all a penny from Best Buy
Silent Hill: Home Coming
Bioshock
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels
ALL HAIL THE 1 2 P

I also picked up a clearance mini-book called Super #1 Robot: Japanese Robot Toys 1972-1982 for $4.99. I recognize a few of the toys I had as a kid, like the Shogun Warriors figures. Sweet.
I also saw a Neo-Geo CD game, a Fatal Fury title (I don't recall exactly which one), in a Movie Trading Company store for $74.99. I've never seen a Neo-Geo CD console in real life, so I have no idea if that's a normal price for such a thing. And of course, since they only had the one game, that means that they probably had the console there, and someone bought it and all the games except that one. It's there just to taunt me, to let me know that I missed out on something.

Some good finds already this month! Very dry here right now plus I'm trying to cut down my trips to the thrifts to save a few bucks but I'm getting a little antsy...
Luckily Target is having some good clearance right now so I feel a little better.
I bought a PSone yesterday for just 3.99. Woo.

Finally....
Does Amazon really need to use such large boxes?
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
