Default The "Unknown" gems of Super Nintendo

Some of my favorite games were on the SNES but ill ask people if they'd played them but they havent even heard of them. So heres my two favorite SNES games that are either A. Underated B. Im just the only one that loved them

Illusion of Gaia- An RPG I think it actually came out around the same time as a Final Fantasy title so maybe thats why it didnt get the attention it deserved

Warlock- Just a little platformer that no one that i talk to seems to know about

No idea if it's unknown or underrtaed but I always thought Super Smash TV was a killer port on SNES.

Stunt Race FX - my favourite video game of all time.

'Back in the day', I was the only person I knew who had it. No one I knew had it.

I introduced it to my friends, who also loved it. But damned if you could find it in the stores, which is weird for a first-party game.

other SNES obscures that deserve credit are Top Gear 3000 and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Two greats, the latter I'm yet to find.

Rock and Roll Racing, for sure...

Biker Mice from Mars is very much like Rock and Roll Racing, just with rats on bikes. Awesome!

I thought DOOM was damn good for a SNES game... ugly as hell, but it played well. The ad for the game was great... one sigle black ant surrounded by HUNDREDS of red ants... classic!

I thought Mr. Do! and Q*Bert 3 were both great "classic" releases that didn't get much fanfare. Mr. Do! added a head-to-head mode and Q*Bert 3 is just plain trippy. Both are very solid, overlooked games.

I'd also name Illusion of Gaia and Cybernator. Excellent games, both o' them.

And I must mention Metal Warriors. It's similar to Cybernator, but with a lot of different mecha to pilot, and an awesome two-player versus mode.
