    Default PS2 keyboard support?

does the playstaion 2 (slim model, if that makes a difference) have usb keyboard support? i ask because i'm interested in getting typing of the dead and though i would rather get it for dreamcast, the ps2 version would win me over if i could use a keyboard that i already have.

I'd figure it's more the game supporting it over the system. I don't see why not, honestly.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

Yes, if the game supports it, you can use a generic USB keyboard. Final Fantasy XI, for example, has keyboard support, and around the time it was released the usual accessory makers like Interact sold PS2 branded keyboards. It's just a regular USB keyboard.

Is there an english option for PS2 TotD? I thought I saw somewhere that is was kanji only, so I just stuck with my Dreamcast copy.

Yea if a ps2 game supports usb keyboards you can use just about anyone. I'm pretty sure wireless ones will not work though.
