Double Dragon NES Cart Only- $1
Three PS1 Memory Cards- 2.50

500th Post! December ?, 2010
Movies in Theatres I Have Last Seen
Fair Game: 4/5
Fighter, The: 4.5/5
Tamara Drewe: 4/5
Looking through the box, I have issues 2-6. The stuff by Eternity isn't actual manga localization, rather, original American comics based on the source material. They did Robotech this way, which proceeded into The Sentinels and all that. I've been wanting to check out the original Harlock anime for a while now, and reading these will probably determine if I start looking for it or not.
There's 26 total issues of Nadesico in the box, but two are #4, one of which is missing the cover. I've never understood why I find comics this way, you'd think that whoever bought them would have tracked down that missing issue #9... The two Gundam series in the box are 4 and 5 issues each, and both are missing the last issue. o_O
Synthesizer. Good music, but most of it is Kurt-less - the last track features vocals by him, though. I liked it a lot.
I actually like all their albums (except for Don't Be Afraid, which isn't bad but it's NOT Insoc).
Who's to say someone didn't pluck those out of the box before you got there?
From Sears...
Manhunt 2 (PS2) X4

Meat Beat Manifesto -- Armed Audio Warfare (1990, CD) - $1
Rick Astley -- Free (CD, with bonus Astley mullet action!) - $1
Today:
Hooooooooooo boy. The city's been hit with a wind storm, so not a lot of buyers went to the flea market. But the sellers...
All from one guy. The guy had a ton of crappy music (Sugar Ray, those morons who sung that Butterfly, sugah, baby song... yech) and at the bottom there was this box with PC games. Some Command & Conquer, disc only Neverwinter Nights... What's this? XCom? Diablo? HO SHI PLANETARY PACK! He also had the Fallout 1+2 set on a table. The outer cardboard was torn, though.
Guardian Heroes sounded familiar so I picked up the case and saw the back cover. The disc has a few scratches but should play fine -- it's for trade if anyone wants it. No manual... and I can't play it, I still don't have a working US Saturn.
Phantasmagoria Stagefright and the 72-60 pin adaptor were pretty cheap - $1 for both! The guy (an American, the only one who sets up shop at this flea market) said $15 at first, which nearly gave me a heart attack, but then he said "Just kidding! $1."
"Each?" "For both, man! Sorry, I just wanted to have a little fun, that's all."
I paid and left. He's a weird one but he's sold me some cheap stuff before, so. :P The adaptor is brand new. The pins are completely unused. I already have a Honeybee 60-72 adaptor and a generic 72-60 one, I'm not sure what to do with this one.
Oh I will, I will. I've only got one other song by them in the From The Masses Depeche Mode tribute album. If I like what I hear, I tend to seek out albums which contain artists I like. (Which is why I also picked up that Rick Astley album.)
Fallout... yes and no. The bundle I got is worth $15-25 bucks. Each game costs $8 on GOG.com, and they include a ton of bonuses (music, PDF manuals, icons, and such) which is a much better value than just having a disc only game. The soundtrack alone is quite a treat for me. I figure, I sell the games for $25, get $20 after fees, buy the games on GOG.com, get two bucks back. There's an European budget release (White Label) which contains Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics. Not a BAD thing, but it's basically a couple of discs in a DVD case. No manuals.
The really valuable item there is Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack. It bundles Alpha Centauri with the expansion pack (which is already rare to begin with). Disc only copies are worth around $40-$60 on a good day. CIB copies (which include a heavy printed manual, maps, and so on) can go for over $100.

Subsequent trips to the same Goodwills in too close of a timespan have meant less to pick from. I was determined to not walk away empty handed from both of the Goodwills I visited, so....
Goodwill #1:
Namco Museum Volume 3 for PSX, mint and complete - 80 cents
Road Rash 3D for PSX - bootleg silver disc by "players" - 80 cents
Marvel Superheroes for PSX - bootleg silver disc by "players" - 80 cents
The Smelly Mystery for PC (kids game that was later licensed by Humongous Entertainment) - 80 cents
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral, (mint condition to replace my roughed up copy from when it was released) - 80 cents
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine (same as above) - 80 cents
Bushido Blade 2 case with a OPM demo disc in it - 80 cents
Jet Moto disc in a 2Extreme case with no manual - 80 cents
Goodwill #2:
Bart Simpson telephone from 1990, complete in mint packaging. Scary looking too; his eyes blink red when the phone rings. $3.99
Gamestop #1:
I needed a GCN controller, so out of desperation I went and (over)paid $15 at Gamestop for one. I also picked up Sneak King for 99 cents (the only original Xbox compatible title left at the location), and Star Fox Adventures in mint condition for Gamecube for $4.99.
GameStop #2:
Then I found out about the 25% off sale on Xbox titles, and used my edge card to get the following for just under $40:
Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance
Tron 2.0 Killer App
Obscure
Stake: Fortune Fighters
Road Kill
Star Trek: Shattered Universe
Judge Dredd
Alien Vs. Predator (case and manual for free -- they had no more discs)
