What would the going rate be for the full set of Mega Man games on NES, all CIB and in very good shape? Prices individual or the lot?
Thanks

I believe I've seen them $40~$60 each, and a little under $200 for the complete set, still shrinkwrapped but carefully cut open to confirm contents.
I'd personally LOVE to have them complete, but I already own them all C/CI, and can't really justify spending that much to complete them. For me, that set is the pinnacle of NES.
This is an estimate on near mint complete Mega Man's.
MM1 - $100
MM2 - $25
MM3 - $20
MM4 - $45
MM5 - $65
MM6 - $55
No, sell individually. You never get more money selling things as a group on ebay unless they are PS2 network adaptors or something that people buy in bulk.
I wish I could buy all of them...
Actually, I'd look into selling the carts and manuals separately. There's tons of guys like us who just want to complete their collections. Plus, you'll find someone who genuinely wants the box, instead of somebody who's just buying the game complete without any real collector passion. I'd sell the boxes+manuals for a little over the price difference of the cart-only and CIB listings, then sell the cart for the going rate.
Of course, this is assuming that you plan to sell. Based on the lack of information in the OP, you could just as well be in the market to BUY. If you ARE planning to sell, ask yourself if you REALLY want to, because like I said, this is the Holy Six of NES.
I've been trying to decide whether or not to sell. I think I will hold on to them until I absolutely need to sell them. Same thing goes for my Snow Brothers, hah, one of my friends has been trying to buy that off me since the day I got it. But I suppose for now, they are all mine. I am just trying to gauge how much certain things are worth in my collection.
Usually yes, but in the case of sets like this that's not true at all. Trust me, I've been doing this for awhile.
Again, I would not do this. It would be a nice gesture for sure, but if/when you decide to sell you would get maximum $ selling them as a complete set. The only box/manual that would bring much would be MM1, the rest aren't too hard to find.
And I disagree with the "real collector passion" remark, someone buying a CIB Mega Man set is a real collector, otherwise they'd save themselves a couple hundred dollars and buy cart only. Throwing a bunch of money down rather than hunting for years in the wild doesn't strip someone of their "real collector" status.
Id sell the Mega Man's seperately. Mega Man 5 usually brings in more money than the others. Sell the Castlevanias as a set, should get around $50.

Mega Man set:
MM 1 - $80-$110 (condition-sensitive; 5-screw cart could easily push this over $200)
MM 2 - $15-$25
MM 3 - $15-$20
MM 4 - $20-$30
MM 5 - $50-$60
MM 6 - $35-$45
Entire set - $250-$350
Castlevanias:
CV 1 - $20-$25 (significantly more if it's the 5-screw cart *with* the hangtab box...$50+, and a premium for great condition)
CV 2 - $12-$15
CV 3 - $20-$25
Set - $50-$60
If you were to ask me, I'd say sell them as individual CIB games...I'd think you'd get the best price out of them that way. Of course, the Mega Man set has the potential to bring more than the sum of its pieces, but it may sit a while before it's bought if the price to be asked is significantly higher than the sum of the individual games therein.
