Went to my best buy and there were 2 guys buying pretty much every game. The only thing they didn't touch were the ds and sports games.
I went to another BB and got what I wanted but fuck those guys, you don't need to clean out the entire clearance rack as soon as the store opens, let other people buy some
Out in Albany it was a Zoo, I thought the place opened at 9, so I got there around 5 after nine. Found out they opened at 11(I only got about 4 hours sleep), took a nap in the parking lot, then around 1050 got out of my car and there was about 20-40 people waiting outside.
Doors opened and some kids(ahem adults I guess) were running through the store. I grabbed a lot of games I wanted, but there were people everywhere. XBOX dried up quick, and I was unable to secure Condemned 2 which I really wanted but got a the a lot of goodies. PS3 Had a ton of everything suprisingly a lot of SC4. Most everything was gone from XBOX in a 1/2 hour save for a few RTSes and junk games. DIdnt even look at Wii but was able to get GTA DS for $20 and got the only copy of Tecmo Bowl DS in the store. Spent about $150 total which included two $20 south park DVDs.
Ive never done anything on Black Friday in my life and this is the closest I will ever come to doing that. It was a really shitty time but got some kickass deals.

My store was pretty much the same. Everything was gone except for infinite discovery and ninja gaiden. From what i heard some guy came in last night and bought every copy of SC4, and all the good titles and brought in the receipt and had them price adjusted. Is that possible? But there was about 10 people looking through a rack that had 4 games wide by 5 games down and all the games where on that little rack on both sides. Sucked cause you had to just grab through people.
I ended up getting ninja gaiden, ID, and 007. I might go back and get tecmo bowl ,is that any good.

I just got back from pentagon city VA s hayes st. They had tons of games about 10 sc4 ps3 none for 360 ,no bourne,no command and conquer. But tons of every thing else at leat 18 infinate undiscovery ,18 too human, pure both systems. best buy double pack edition soldier of fortune,QOS collectors edition. They had the most stock of the 3 I went to.
Toss in the gta chinatown wars for 20 for the ds great deal. The one that no one seem to have was nhl 2k9

Nah, Goodwill got one of each. The guys I saw grabbed every copy of every game. They must have had at least 10 copies of the 007 bundle which they tried to balance along with everything else.
Well that's just greedy.
The best buys near me only had two that I wanted, and those were UT III and Silent Hill. I really was looking forward to grabbing Soul Caliber 4, but it seems as though that game sold out quick. Whats interesting is that when I went to get a rain check, the employee told me that the title had been deleted from inventory, as in, they are no longer going to receive it. Anyone else know of this?
Ya I asked an employee about Silent Hill Homecoming for the 360 and he said they were out of stock and were not getting anymore in. I guess they are clearancing them out and when they are gone, they are gone.
I am surprised BB did not put a limit on these games. I guess I may be the only one who feels this way but I watched a guy this morning grab almost every game that was on sale for PS3 and XBOX. Granted he did not buy multiples but I asked him - "Guess you got a lot of time on your hands?" He kinda gave me a dirty look and walked away. My feelings towards this is - Yes, 10 bucks is a great deal but no one needs every game that they have. Seriously, you cannot have THAT much time and like EVERY game that is on sale.

My Best Buy experience was much like many of yours. I was at my BB at 11:03 right after the doors opened and they had pretty much every game on the list available with the exception of Soul Calibur (360) and Turning Point (360) and NHL 2K9 (360). All the PS3 titles were there and I did not check the DS as they don't interest me much. Some titles were extremely limited (Pure, Red Alert 1 copy each) and some were overly abundant (Simpsons Game, Infinite, Hellboy, Alone in the Dark - 25+ copies each).
I made my purchases, then went to a different one to check on Turning Point and they had NOTHING left at 11:30! They were cleaned out! I did notice that there were many differences in stock between stores - like the first store had games on the sale that the other stores didn't, and weren't on the list. Here are some that had the stickers that weren't at any other BB:
360 : GRiD, Skate, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, and many more
Wii: Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Super Paper Mario, Okami, Brothers In Arms, Wacky Racers, Chocobo's Dungeon, Pokemon Battle Revolution, and many more.
Turns out the managers have the option of including more if they have any games that are on the short list to be returned to the manufacturer, so my BB went nuts and put lots of extras on sale.

Well, I bought 18 games - no doubles - for 3 different systems. I think limiting purchases is against the whole concept of "clearancing out" their old stock - they WANT this stuff gone! Yes, I do not need most of these games, and it will be months before I even play some, but at $10 each you have to take advantage and buy what you want. I didn't buy anything just for resale, like Grid, Pure, Infinite Undiscovery, DMC, or any of the other RPGs that I don't get into, but it was tempting, I must say. There's always that little devil on your shoulder saying "buy em all and sell them for profit". You just have to knock him off and leave some for the others coming into the store next.

Just got back. I have 4 Best Buys in my area and I ran to all 4 of them. I got everything I wanted except Soul Calibur IV. For some reason the PS3 version was plentiful and in stock but the 360 version was ever so elusive. I also snagged the LAST copy of PURE and that was the main game I wanted. Everything else was just bonus.

If anyone finds a copy of NHL 2K9, Let me know, I can try to grab something you couldn't find at the sale. I couldn't find NHL2K9, Pure, Silent Hill Homecoming, or about half of the titles. I did get Sing It. Which was not listed.
I got Warhammer it was one of only two games I needed (have the rest) for the 360.
If anyone wants to dump an extra copy of PURE that would be sweet. I couldnt find it anywhere.

Yep, don't know what the reason is, but for the 360, Pure, Soul Calibur, and NHL2K9 were nonexistent at any BB around me today. My guess is that those were probably gone before today since they are pretty good mainline titles.

Another thing fellas, Wal-mart will price match these. I just got Pure for the 360. The one i went to said it has to be pictured for them to honor it. So SC4 is only pictured on the ps3 so they wouldnt honor it on the 360

No friggin' kiddin'. I guess waiting until, uh, now, to check was a bad idea. Oh well, I bought 13 games this week between Gamestop's two for three sale, Blockbuster's Clearance sale and a stop at my local comic book shop, so I guess that'll tide me over.
