Default Simple answer for "Did I get a good deal?"

Here is a very simple way to answer the often asked question of, "Did I get a good deal on <whatever>?"

Use the method I was taught when dickering with merchants in the Caribbean: Ask yourself, "Am I comfortable with what I paid for it?" If so, then you got a good deal.

Granted, this is more useful if you are buying something for yourself rather than to resell.

Usually when I ask if it was a good deal I'm buying to resell or an obscure system I don't really know about.
When buying something for myself that I know about I don't need to ask.
